What Doesn't Kill You, 2015

During a weeklong residency with Cabin Time in Santa, Idaho, I took audio recordings of communal spaces, catching the sounds of shared meals, impromptu music making, wood fires, and the ground under foot. At the end of the week, I created a small shelter and invited the other artists to collaborate on an hour-long soundscape as my contribution to Mary Rothlisberger's Cabin Time Radio. Together, we layered the week’s noises and tracked the landscapes we created through accumulation :: radio reports, sea chanties, eggs frying, conversation, clatter ::
